The Hyperlink London team

Who We Are

Hyperlink is a community of remarkable students that have the ambition to develop the future of transport. We come from every discipline and work together throughout the year to research, design and build research papers, prototypes and relations, all to compete and present our work at international competitions such as the European Hyperloop Week.

Our many backgrounds gives each member the opportunity to learn from our community of experts that come to teach us or from their peers sharing skills and experiences. We pride ourselves on developing diversity within our team and want to welcome all into our community.

Alumni

Our alumni have gone on to roles in engineering, research, and industry. We're proud of everyone who has been part of Hyperlink London and continues to shape the future of transport.

What is Hyperloop?

The Idea

Hyperloop is a novel transportation system initially proposed by Elon Musk in 2013. Since its proposal, countless teams have come together to develop the necessary technology that will make it a successful transportation system.

It's been calculated that, if implemented successfully, a Hyperloop system will be able to reach speeds of over 1000 km/h, revolutionizing how we move around the world forever.

Implementation

Implementing Hyperloop on a large scale with current designs will require significant investment in infrastructure and will result in changes to the entire logistics network.

Hyperlink is researching ways of adapting pre-existing infrastructure and networks to utilize the technology from hyperloop to improve and revolutionize transportation.
